A coach to help you find your words, not to speak for you.
Fear of the first message produces hesitation, small talk or something that sounds like a template. Automatic message generators make it worse: they make every conversation interchangeable. This is a place to train, not a machine for producing lines.
A vernissage in Lausanne. Someone next to you is looking at the same piece and says: “I have no idea what I am looking at, honestly.”
“Same, but I like it anyway. What made you stop at this one?”
- Listening
- Respect
- Naturalness
- Curiosity
- Context
Why this works: you matched their honesty instead of performing expertise, then handed the conversation back with a question only they can answer.
Five axes, not one arbitrary score.
A single mark out of ten reads like a judgement of you as a person. These five say what to change.
- 01
Listening
Did you pick up what the other person actually said, or answer the question you had already prepared?
- 02
Respect
Boundaries, personal space and levels of formality — which matter more in Switzerland than many newcomers expect.
- 03
Naturalness
Does it sound like you, or like a script? A technically perfect line delivered as a performance still lands badly.
- 04
Curiosity
Did you leave the other person somewhere to go, or close the exchange with a statement?
- 05
Fitting the context
A vernissage, a five-a-side pitch and a language café are not the same room. The coach knows which one you are in.
Training, not ghostwriting.
The risks here are obvious, so the design says no to them explicitly.
Not this
“The AI tells you what to reply.”
This instead
It shows you why an answer worked, so the next one is yours.
Not this
A score that feels like a verdict on you.
This instead
Five specific axes, each with something you can actually change.
Not this
A therapist, or a substitute for one.
This instead
A practice space for conversation, clear about being exactly that.
A private place to get it wrong.
Practising only works if failing costs you nothing socially — and if you know what happens to what you wrote.
- 01
Practice is not published
Scenarios and your answers are yours. Score cards are shareable if you want, and never expose the conversation behind them.
- 02
Deletion means deletion
You can delete your practice history, and deleting your account removes it. There is a form for it on this site.
- 03
Reasoning is shown
Every piece of advice explains the thinking behind it, so you can disagree with it rather than obey it.
- 04
Report bad advice
A report button sits on the feedback itself. Flagged advice is reviewed by a person.
About the coach
Will it write my messages for me?
No, and that is deliberate. It reacts to what you wrote and shows you how to improve it. If it handed you a line to paste, you would learn nothing and the person on the other side would be talking to a template.
Which languages can I practise in?
French, English and German. It can also explain where standard German and Swiss-German context differ, without pretending to simulate every dialect.
Is it a therapy service?
No. It is a practice space for social situations. It is not therapy, it is not medical, and it will not present itself as either.
Is the coach free?
There is a free set of scenarios. Unlimited practice and progress tracking are part of the paid tier when it launches.
